Phil, Teacher (father of Chase, 5.5 years old)

Stephanie is simply amazing. She’s not just a phenomenal therapist but an amazing person as well. She was incredibly kind and patient while working with our son. We credit her for our son’s eating success and all the progress he’s made from the foundation she helped establish. Our son was born with cranial nerve deficiencies and swallowing abnormalities. He was solely 100% reliant on G-Tube feeds for his first year of life. We started working with Stephanie just before he turned 1. He is now 5 and housing full slices of pizza, steak, bowls of mac and cheese, fruits, vegetables, and everything in between with no limitations. We simply can’t thank her enough for all she’s done physically for our son and emotionally for us as parents; training us and offering support and motivation. She truly cares about the whole family when it comes to therapy and knows when to push but also when to encourage baby steps. If you are still debating who to use as a therapist, stop your search and hope she’s got an opening. You absolutely won’t regret the decision.

Parent of 2 boys with selective eating and texture aversions

I first met Stephanie eight years ago when I brought my four-year-old son (now 12) in for feeding therapy at a different practice. He was a reserved young boy, skeptical of new people, but I was determined to help him overcome his feeding aversions. From the initial intake meeting to our first session, Stephanie made us feel at ease and quickly connected with my son. She established an empathetic connection right away. We visited weekly, and she tailored her methods to help my son reduce his fears of trying new foods, leading to noticeable progress. However, with the arrival of a new baby, I found it difficult to maintain those sessions. Nonetheless, Stephanie equipped us with the tools and strategies to introduce new foods into our routine, and today, my older son enjoys a variety of new foods. Years later, I realized my younger son could benefit from feeding therapy, and I immediately sought out Stephanie. Unfortunately, she had moved much farther north, making it logistically challenging for us. Time passed, but my needs didn’t change, so six years later, I figured out a way to meet with her—this time for my younger son. He was extremely anxious about being in a situation where he might be asked to try foods he didn't want, but Stephanie quickly put him at ease and made the sessions enjoyable. Over time, he looked forward to visiting her. Again, Stephanie provided the right approaches, tools, and strategies to help us navigate his selective eating, resulting in his successful introduction of many new foods. I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone whose child faces eating challenges. Not only is she skilled in her field, but her exceptional ability to connect with children is truly remarkable.

Carolyn, mother of

6 year old son

"Stephanie worked with my 6 year old son for about a year and I cannot say enough positive things about her! She is professional, enthusiastic, a strong communicator and overall extremely talented speech therapist. My son enjoyed working with her every week and she was effectively able to accomplish speech therapy while integrating play. We were so lucky to have found her and would recommend her to any family in need of speech and/or feeding services!"

Anna, mom of a three year old daughter

"A few months after I had my son, my three year old daughter went through a major eating regression. She completely stopped eating solids. At first we thought she had a traumatic event during a meal, but after seeing Stephanie, we learned that she was actually going through an eating regression. Stephanie worked with my daughter a few times weekly and built an amazing relationship with her. My daughter had complete trust in Stephanie and looked forward to her sessions. Stephanie worked with my daughter for five weeks, building her eating skills and confidence to eat solids again. My daughter showed progress after each session and finally started eating solids again! When I didn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, Stephanie was there to talk me through the process and the support me as well. Stephanie is the most patient and caring therapist I have ever worked with and she is the sole reason my daughter is back to eating solids again. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Stephanie and am so extremely happy that we found her!"

Leah, mother of a

3-year-old son

"Partnering with Stephanie to address delays with my son’s speech was an invaluable experience! Learning your child may have a speech delay can be really challenging to hear and navigate. While working to evaluate my son’s speech and then figure out a game plan together to improve his speech, Stephanie was warm, patient, knowledgeable, and moved at the pace we needed. She takes the time to meet you where you and your child are. Not only did she work with my son who felt immediately comfortable in her care, but she also took the time to educate me so that I knew how to encourage and practice with my son when we were not with Stephanie. She gave us so many tools and learnings to apply in our everyday moments. Shortly after working with Stephanie, I noticed improvements with my son’s speech exponentially. It was comforting to have her support and know we were on the right track! I truly cannot imagine navigating teaching my son without Stephanie’s wise and helpful guidance. If you have the opportunity to work with Stephanie, this will truly be a gift to you and your child."

Julie, parent of a

11 month old

"Stephanie helped ease my anxiety’s when I started feeding my infant son solids. She gave me tools to ensure my son was getting proper nutrition while learning skills that he will use for years to come. She’s immensely knowledgeable and I am so grateful for her help! I cannot recommend her enough for any feeding needs."

Corine, mother of

2 year old &

2 month old girls

"Stephanie is truly amazing! My 8 month old would barely eat or try new foods for my husband and I. We tried everything. I contacted Stephanie, she came over with a few tools and within 20 minutes had my daughter curiously munching away! We didn’t have any issues after that! My new baby girl is 2 months old and when she was about 1 month we were having many issues with her formula. Our doctors kept telling us to ride it out for 2 months for her stomach to mature but she was projectile vomiting and it was getting worse everyday. Stephanie actually listened to us and could tell something was off. She asked us a few questions and told us to try a certain formula and boom my daughter instantly stopped spitting up. And for the last 5 weeks does it very rarely now. Stephanie is the most patient, kind and most CARING person. She wants to help more than anything and it shows!"

Marisa, mother of a

4 year old girl

"I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Jenna! She worked with my 4 year old daughter for a little under a year to provide private speech therapy with a focus on articulation. Each session was play based and tailored to her specific speech needs as well as her interests! Her communication was exceptional! After every session, Jenna would reach out to me about what they worked on, how my daughter did, and what she would like to continue to work on in the coming weeks. Jenna is warm, engaging, experienced, and deeply committed to the learning and growth of her clients!"

Jennifer, mother of James (1.5 years old)

"My son came home from the hospital after a 6 month stay in the NICU at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He was completely dependent on a NG tube and was so sensitive that putting his own hands in his mouth would cause him to gage. He was unable to take any food or liquid by mouth. We started working with Jenna the first week James was home and it changed our lives. After months of feeding therapy, Jenna creating a plan to wean him off the tube, James is now fully eating my mouth. His favorite foods are waffles and pizza! I credit all of his success to her hard work and specialized skills in this area."

Mother, 8-year old boy

"Over a span of 8 years, my son has been lucky enough to work with both Jenna and Stephanie. They both have exceptional knowledge and expertise in pediatric feeding therapy. My son was G-Tube dependent, had no suck, swallow or gag, and did not know how to bite and chew food safely. He is now a typical child who can manipulate food safely, eat a variety of food and textures, is G-Tube free and has a love of food. We are forever grateful and appreciative to both Jenna and Stephanie for their supportive, caring, patient and kind approach both to children and their families. There are no two professionals I would ever recommend more!"

Erica, mother of

9-month old daughter

"When my daughter was born, feeding was very overwhelming. After moving to formula because I didn't produce breastmilk I thought our feeding journey would become simpler -- but I was wrong. My daughter struggled with reflux and would fight and cry when she was drinking from the bottle constantly. It took a long time, and luckily with the help of Jenna we were able to try some tricks that would calm her stress while feeding. When it came time to start solids, I was overwhelmed that it would just be another battle and struggle to face. However, I was completely wrong! Armed with all the information and tools I needed from Jenna - we started exploring the world of foods and to our surprise she loved it! It was so relieving to be having fun with food and show my daughter how enjoyable and fun it could be to eat! There is a lot of feeding content on social media these days that can make you feel like you're doing it wrong. But Jenna was able to articulate the mechanics of feeding in a very simple way which made me confident in the progression of skills a baby had to learn to be able to safely eat solids and thus the plan I put in place. Jenna is an invaluable resource!"

Preschool 2s Teacher

"As a preschool 2s teacher for over 25 years, I have worked with many speech therapists, and I’ve had the honor of working with Jenna for the last 2 years. What stood out about Jenna from day one is the connections she makes with her clients. I had students who didn't speak or had poor articulation, which was frustrating for them and affected them socially and developmentally. I've witnessed these children become confident little talkers! Jenna communicates with the child's teachers and families about what she's working on and things to do at school and home. I highly recommend Jenna to anyone who thinks their child may need speech therapy. I always get positive feedback from families. As a teacher, I only want the best for my students, and Jenna is the only speech therapist I would ever recommend. She is the best!"

Ali, Mother of a

15 month old daughter

"As a first time mom, introducing solids can be EXTREMELY challenging and scary! However, Jenna made this process so easy, seamless and FUN for me and my baby! It was basically like FaceTiming with a best friend, but instead I was getting advice and coaching from an extremely experienced feeding therapist. Jenna was patient, kind and understanding when I asked all my "silly" questions and walked me through feeding schedules and suggestions for what to offer at mealtime. We've still been in touch, since Jenna is also available for later stage transitions like weaning off bottles. So happy we had her help on this journey and have learned so much invaluable information."

Lindsey, mom of Leo

(1 year old)

"As a new parent I was inundated with different opinions and varying information about starting solids from my pediatrician, my mom, Instagram, and even random strangers on the street. There is too much information out there, and I didn't know where to start or what sources to trust the most. Jenna was so helpful explaining solids, that I called her again to talk about the transition from breast milk to whole milk! She has a wealth of knowledge from her own experience as a parent, and as a professional working with kids every day. Stop your research and talk to Jenna!"

parents of 4 month old daughter

However, Stephanie transformed this challenging journey into a hopeful and positive experience.

Stephanie employed a variety of innovative techniques and exercises that were effective for our little one. She also provided us with invaluable tips and strategies to continue supporting our baby’s feeding development at home.
