Treatment sessions are aimed to guide your child through specific therapy techniques aimed at addressing any oral motor, feeding, and/or swallowing difficulties identified during the assessment.
Our approach integrates a diverse range of therapeutic methodologies that are centered around your child's needs and your family's dynamics.
Central to our practice is a child-centered, family-focused philosophy that supports gentle, non-coercive methods. We prioritize play-based techniques that promote skill generalization beyond therapy sessions and encourage consistent progress over time.
Our team is trained in a wide range of therapeutic modalities to support feeding and swallowing progress, including Beckman Oral Motor, Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Talk Tools', Neuromuscual Electrical Stimulation (NMES), Kinesiology Taping, the AEIOU Approach to Feeding, and Food Chaining. We also have completed continuing education and training on topics including ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Feeding Intake Disorder), lactation/breastfeeding, Tethered Oral Tissues (i.e. tongue tie, lip tie), and many more. Drawing on our extensive training and years of experience working with hundreds of children with feeding difficulties, we craft an individualized treatment plan that addresses your child's unique needs.
